APR's left-back Christian Ishimwe has denied reports linking him to a move to Tanzanian club Azam FC.
This week, some local media outlets published stories claiming that the 25-year-old was set to join the Dar-es-Salaam-based club, but in an interview with Times Sport on Wednesday, March 20, he said it is not true.

"It is not true that I have had talks with Azam. No one has even approached me. There is no truth in those claims. They are all speculations," he said.
"I am an APR player and I have a contract with the club. My focus is on how to help the club win trophies. I have not decided on my future yet,” he added.
Arguably the best left-back in the league, Ishimwe is currently on national duty with Amavubi in Antananarivo where they will play two international friendlies against Botswana and Madagascar respectively.
