Mukura Victory Sports’ managing director, Protais Musoni, has praised the level of quality football exhibited by clubs in the 2023/24 season of the Primus Rwanda National League. Currently, the league is in its second round. Giants APR FC are on the top of the table with 58 points while Rayon Sports and Musanze FC are in second and third place with 44 points each. The inclusion of foreign players has notably raised the bar, motivating our local talents to strive harder for positions,” Musoni told Times Sport in an exclusive interview. Speaking about the increased number of foreign players in the league, he noted that it has elevated the standard of play, fostering a more dynamic and intense competition on the field. At Mukura Victory Sports, our primary goal is to maintain a competitive edge in the league, with a firm aim of securing a top-four finish. Concurrently, we are committed to nurturing talent within our ranks, he said. Mukura is currently in the fourth position on the league table with 39 points. Their upcoming fixture is against Rayon Sports at the Huye Stadium on March 30.
