Rwanda's Zouk and RnB singer, Christopher Muneza, will start his Canada tour shows in Montreal before heading to other major cities of the country, The New Times has learnt. Canada is the final stop of the artistes’ world tour, which is in line with his comeback to the Rwandan music industry since parting ways with Kina Music, aimed at exporting his new sound to the rest of the world and promoting most of his recent projects. Speaking to The New Times, the 'Nibido' hit maker said that his Canada tour will kick off in Montreal on May 11, before heading to other cities like Ottawa among others. The tour, he said, might also reach other three cities of Canada if negotiations with event promoters go as planned. “I’m having final rehearsals of the shows and all I can assure my fans is that this is a special tour. We have many hits, surprises and many more during the shows. It’s going to be a massive one,” the artiste said. The New Times understands that Christopher will also drop his long-awaited album while on tour in May. “I’ve never had songs like these before in my career. This is a project I worked on since 2019, and I’m sure that it is the best I have produced so far. It’s a masterpiece!” said Christopher. In 2016, Christopher Muneza parted ways with Kina Music, which he joined in 2009 at the age of 15. He rose to fame after releasing several hits such as 'Iri Joro', which he made with Danny Nanone and gave him his breakthrough, 'Habona', 'Babyumva', 'Ndabyemeye', 'Agatima', 'Urubavu', 'Abasitari' and others.
