The National Public Prosecution Authority (NPPA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MINAFFET) and Irembo, has made an update on the application process for the criminal record certificates through the IremboGov platform. According to Irembo, the updated application process incorporates the following key modifications: Rwandans and foreigners applying for the service should have Rwandan national and foreign IDs. Applicants living abroad without Rwandan National IDs or Rwandan Foreign IDs should contact or visit their nearest Rwandan embassy for assistance. According to Irembo, the updates demonstrate the company’s dedication to enhancing its services and collaborating with government entities to cater to the needs of those who request government services on their platform. By utilising technology and forming strategic partnerships, Irembo aims to streamline administrative procedures and improve access to government services for all applicants, irrespective of their location.
