Senior officials from the Ministry of Health, Rwanda Biomedical Centre, WHO, UNFPA and other civil society organisations converged at the Kigali Convention Centre last week on Friday, September 30, where they officially launched the new WHO antenatal care model. The new model recommends expectant mothers to have at least eight antenatal contacts with their healthcare providers within the course of their pregnancy.
