Here are some of the shows that will help you enjoy the Easter holiday with your loved ones: Kigali Jazz Junction Are you ready to party in style? Then you’re in luck because the Kigali Jazz Junction is back, bringing with it what organisers say will be the best Easter vibes! The show will take place at Kigali Serena Hotel on March 30. Ross Phyllisia, from the US, will headline the concert with her jazzy grooves, in the genres of zouk and soul. She will be joined on stage by celebrated local artiste King James and the Neptunez band. Tickets are Rwf10, 000 (regular), Rwf20, 000 (VIP), Rwf160, 000 (a corporate table for 8). Arsenal East Africa Festival Hosted by the Rwanda Arsenal Fans association, the two-day Arsenal East Africa Festival will be held at Golden Tulip in Nyamata on Saturday, and at Tuuza Inn on Sunday. The festival will be attended by Arsenal fans from around East Africa (Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania), who will be joined by their counterparts from Zambia, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia. All Red Party Event organiser Sandra Teta is back with the All Red Party at K-Club Lifestyle on Saturday. The event will be sponsored by Belaire, and entrance fee is Rwf5,000. There will be special performances by Riderman, Safi and Marina. Sinach for Easter Celebration Get ready for the Easter Celebration on April 1, as multi award-winning Nigerian gospel singer Sinach will be headlining the annual gospel music extravaganza. The ‘I know who I am’ hitmaker, real name Osinachi Kalu, will perform alongside local gospel artistes Israel Mbonyi, Aime Uwimana and Patient Bizimana, the co-organiser of the show. The much-anticipated concert will be staged at Amahoro National Stadium’s main parking. Tickets are Rwf3, 000 (regular), Rwf10, 000 (VIP), 200,000 (table of eight). Easter Kids Party To help your children get into the Easter mood, Spiderman Game Centre has organised a three-day Easter Kids Party at its location in Masaka. The festival runs from Friday, March 30 through Sunday, April 2. Local artistes Gaby Kamanzi, Serge Iyamuremye, and DJ Spin will keep kids entertained. Easter Weekend Brunch Easter is a perfect occasion for families and friends’ get-togethers, to share meals, drinks and create great memories. To help you achieve this, Marriot Hotel has organised the Easter Weekend Brunch on Sunday. Themed ‘Weekend Brunch’, the day will feature exciting activities for kids, such as a colourful Easter egg hunting at Malaika Gardens, from 3pm. Rubavu reggae festival Reggae enthusiasts in Rubavu District are bracing for an Easter weekend treat after Lakeside Restaurant and Beach Bar throws a two-day reggae fiesta from March 31 - April 1. Organisers have brought local reggae maestro Natty Dread, who will to do a series of performances, alongside 2T Reggae Man, City Yankees and Mon Statut from the Democratic Republic of Congo. While Selector Dizzo and Kail Kagame will be spinning the disks. The event will boast a wide selection of the smoothest selection of reggae. Comedy Get ready for comedy and music performances at The Junction lounge and restaurant today Thursday, March 29. Comedy Knight members, Mika, Babu, Josh, George and Divin will stage a comedy show under the topic, Guma Guma. There will be guest performances by Uncle Austin, Gabiro Music, Jayc Ambassador and MC Tino to entertain the crowd and DJ Tyga behind the decks. Doors open at 6pm and the fee to the show is Rwf2,000. Bruce Melodie & Muzi Music band Organised by Kiwundo Top Talent, the show will feature performances from one of the country’s finest artistes Bruce Melodie, and Muzi Music band.
