RRA, under Kenyan coach Dorcus Ndasaba, beat Shams 3-0 (31-29, 25-23, and 29-27). Shams face Customs of Nigeria in battle for seventh place. Pipeline of Kenya lost to Ahly of Egypt 3-1 and will now face domestic rivals Kenya Prisons in the battle for third place. Prisons were beaten by defending champions Carthage of Tunisia 3-1 in semi-finals, while Ahly defeated Pipeline 3-1 in the other semi-final. Carthage and Ahly face off in the final on Thursday. In the play off for 5 to 8 places, Bafia recovered from their 3-2 quarterfinals defeat against Pipeline to beat Ccustoms 3-1 (25-21, 21-25, 25-23, 25-22). In play off, 9 to 12, Nkumba University beat fellow Ugandan side Vision 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25 -10), while INJS beat Chlef 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-14). In 13 to 16 play offs, Harare City of Zimbabwe were 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-22) winners against Asec Mimosas from Core d’Ivoire. Nyong overcame FAP 3-1 (28-26, 25-14, 23-25, 25-21) in an all Cameroonian affair.
