Urusaro Film Festival The third edition of the Urusaro International Women Film Festival began yesterday March 3 and will go on till 9 at Marasa Umubano Hotel in Kigali, under the theme ‘Cinema in women’s empowerment’. International actresses and filmmakers are expected to grace the annual festival which has become a special platform that brings together female filmmakers, directors and producers in the country and abroad to share their experience in the film industry. 30 Billion Africa tour Afropop Nigerian artiste Davido, as part of his 30 Billion Africa Tour will perform in Kigali at the Amahoro Stadium tomorrow Saturday March 2 from 5pm. The concert is organised by Sony Music, the global music label to which the singer is signed, and Positive Productions, a local Events company. Tickets for the show will go for Rwf 5000 (regular), Rwf 20,000 (VIP), and RWF 50,000 (VVIP). Bier Fest Celebrate the German Beer Festival (Bier Fest) this Saturday March 3 at the German Butchery. Special offers will include Authentic German Wheat Beer (“Weißbier”), and German food specials such as pork knuckle, suckling pig, Bavarian sausages, starting from 5pm. Movies Have fun with family and friends as you watch the latest movies; Black Panther, Proud Mary, Monster Family, Den of Thieves, 12 Strong, Red Sparrow are showing this weekend at Century Cinema, Kigali located at Kigali City Tower. Night clubs If you are a disco person and wondering where to hang out this weekend, worry not. Kigali has a number of night clubs where you can dance the night away, including O-Zone, The Junction, Masters Lounge, Chillax Lounge, K-Club, Envy Club, People’s Club and Ogopogo.
