I am an ardent listener and fun of City Radio. I recently (Saturday) listened to Pastor Murenzi and his wife Jolly preach the ‘good news’ to the nation. What I heard on that programme was so different from what I expected the Radio to be for. The pastors attacked their fellow pastors and the government, accusing them of rallying behind people whose wish is to stain Shinning Light Church. I was disappointed with the ‘gospel’ delivered that Saturday night. Jesus taught us to love all including our enemies, and is what I expected of pastor Murenzi but I never heard or felt love in that message the two people preached. I thought that Murenzi owed the nation an apology of what happened but instead he chose to directly attack his ‘enemies’ using City Radio air waves. Pastor Murenzi should know that he owes his ‘enemies’ an apology and the nation at large given his status. Murenzi should know that attacking other people will not make his name clean, if anything; he is destroying it the more. I would advise him to take things at a slow pace. If the God he serves is a God of justice and truth, then he will show who is clean. However, this will not come overnight but will take time.
