There was low activity as the Rwanda Stock Exchange opened the week, yesterday. According to the RSE daily market report for Monday, yesterday’s trading session recorded a total turnover of just Rw548,500 from 8,500 shares traded in four deals on the equity market segment. Crystal Telecom recorded a total turnover of Rwf520,000 from 8,200 shares traded in three deals. The counter closed at Rwf65, unchanged from Friday’s closing share price, while I&M Bank was also stable at Rwf95. The lender pushed 300 shares worth Rwf28,500 in one deal. Both the RSI and ALSI remained constant, closing at 133.89 and 133.26 points, respectively. RSE market capitalisation was at Rwf2.93 trillion. The other equities counters closed as follows: Bralirwa Rwf149; Equity Rwf350; Bank of Kigali Rwf295; NMG Rwf1,200; KCB Rwf340 and Uchumi Supermarket Rwf104. At the end of the trading hours, Bank of Kigali had outstanding offers of 48,900 shares, ranging from Rwf295 to Rwf300 and a bid for 1,000 shares at Rwf286. There were outstanding offers of 174,900 shares at the Bralirwa counter between Rwf145 and Rwf150, while Crystal Telecom received offers of 586,000 shares between Rwf65 and Rwf70, and I&M Bank got offers of 93,800 shares, ranging from Rwf96 to Rwf100. However, all the three counters did not receive any bids. On the bond market, there was an outstanding bid for Rwf200 million worth of bonds, going for Rwf104.5 to Rwf104.6, but there were no offers..
