A 42nd minute penalty from striker Shabani ‘Tshabalala’ Hussein was enough for AS Kigali to pick all maximum points against struggling Police FC at Kigali Pele Stadium on Saturday, February 24. The win increased pressure on coach Vincent Mashami whose future on the Police FC touchline now looks uncertain after failing to help the team win a single game in their last six outings of the second round of the Primus National League. Unlike Police, AS Kigali have managed five wins in their last six second round games and Saturday’s victory sow them climb to sixth with 31 points, leapfrogging Kiyovu who were thrashed 3-0 at home to Marines.
