Saturday, February 24 APR Vs Al Rayyan Tipoff: 6.30pm CAT APR basketball club will Saturday, February 24, take on Qatari side Al Rayyan in the second warm-up game of their 10-day training camp in Doha, Qatar. The ongoing buildup games are part of the Rwandan champions’ preparations for the forthcoming regular season of Basketball Africa League (BAL) 2024 which will take in Dakar, Senegal in May. APR won their first warmup game when they defeated Al Wakrah 108-80 on Thursday and another tough test from Al Rayyan awaits the army side as coach Mazen Trakh continues to assess his roster. APR will for the first time be participating in BAL, an elite African basketball club competition backed by the NBA. The conference also comprises Tunisia’s US Monastir, AS Douanes of Senegal and Nigerian Champions Rivers Hoopers.
