Espoir, APR square-off in hoops league

Espoir and APR are the two most successful basketball clubs in the league with a combined 12 league titles between them, APR has won the league 7 times while Espoir have won 5. APR have also won three FIBA Africa Zone 5 Championships in 2003, 2007 and 2010 while Nyamirambo-based Espoir has won it once in 2012, and remains the last Rwandan side to clinch the annual regional flagship tournament.
