Wednesday Gasogi United Vs APR FC (Kigali Pele Stadium) Kickoff: 6PM CAT APR FC will be aiming to secure a semifinal berth in the Peace Cup when they visit Gasogi United in the quarterfinal second leg at Kigali Pele Stadium on Wednesday, February 21. The army side was held to a barren draw with Gasogi United in the first leg at Kigali Pele Stadium and both teams will be poised to advance to the last four when they face off in the second leg, same ground, on Wednesday. Coach Thierry Froger is not undermining Gasogi United who he sees as a big threat to their quest for the Peace Cup glory. It is going to be a difficult game as usual but we are going all out for a victory. Gasogi are no pushovers, Froger said. Froger has been handed a big injury boost following the recent return of star striker Victor Mbaoma who came on as a second half substitute on match day 21 as the army side were held to a 0-0 draw by Bugesera. While Mbaoma is back to action, Sharaf Shaiboub might drop to midfield which means one of Taddeo Lwanga and Ismail Nshimirimana could drop to the bench. Meanwhile, Gasogi will rely on the likes of Serge Kabanda in attack with Akbar Muderi set to boss the midfield while Christian Panzi and Dany Niyongira will be looking to cause danger in attack.
