Egypt and Middle East expo kicks off

The Egypt and Middle East Expo kicked off today with organisers saying it presents buyers a good opportunity to do their Christmas shopping. Natacha Haguma, the coordinator of the expo, said the expo has attracted over 56 exhibitors compared to 46 traders that participated during the last show. The exhibition is a biannual event to promote trade and investment between the participating countries. Exhibitors from Iran, Pakistan, Syria, Egypt, India, Dubai and Singapore, among others, are participating in expo. Haguma said the trade fair has created over 70 temporary jobs for young Rwandans.
