Mukura Victory Sports winger Elie Tatou Iradukunda could miss the next two weeks of action as his injury looks a bit more serious than expected. Iradukunda, 17, had a tear on his thigh muscle during Mukura's 1-0 defeat to Musanze at Huye Stadium on February 11, and subsequently missed club’s trip to Bugesera FC in the Peace Cup as well as their 4-2 win over Sunrise FC in Nyagatare in the Primus National League on Saturday, February 19. Iradukunda has been in fine form this season scoring five goals in all competitions. His fine exploits earned him a maiden callup in the senior national team setup in November 2023 before Frank Torsten Spittler axed him from the camp due to underperformance.
