The women will play their games at Kimisagara. The top two teams in each category will advance to the semi-finals. Gisagara head coach Eric Gakwaya is targeting to win Carré d’AS to wrap up their debut season on a high. “We have set high standards for ourselves, winning the league after beating top teams like Kirehe, APR and University of Kibungo (last year’s champions),” said the former National University of Rwanda left attacker. He added that, “We made history by winning the league in our first season but we need to continue working hard and try to also win the Carré d’AS.” editorial@newtimes.co.rw
