While addressing customers during the launch, the BK Chief Executive, Diane Karusisi, told clients that the bank would continue to bring services closer to them by opening new branches. “As we begin 2024, we aim to reach out to our customers across the country, starting with Musanze where we have a big number of customers. We received feedback from them and we aim to continually enhance our offerings to fit their needs,” she said. The revamped branch introduces a new era of banking in Musanze, incorporating advanced facilities and services tailored to the clientele’s needs. The bank is also keen on providing comprehensive advisory services to foster stronger relationships with businesses and individuals. Highlighting the bank's innovative approach, the CEO unveiled a new product for the agriculture sector. She said: We are excited to introduce our agribusiness department, offering a wide range of services designed for SMEs, farmers, and our retail customers. Our new Hunika facility is a testament to our commitment to support agribusinesses, ensuring our clients have the resources they need for growth. The Vice Mayor of Musanze District, Clarisse Uwanyirigira, applauded BK for its pivotal role in local economic development and its focus on agriculture, a vital sector for the district. BK's services have been instrumental in supporting our farmers and cooperatives. We look forward to further collaboration to drive the socio-economic growth of our district, she stated. Jean Habiyambere, the President of the Private Sector Federation in Musanze District, highlighted the importance of BK's loans in the town's development and called for enhanced credit services to support the local economy.
