There's a new artiste called Mulix, on the Rwandan music scene who has made his way with a new release dubbed 'By My Side' which premiered on Friday, February 9. ALSO READ: TMC on life after Dream Boys split, new music Speaking to The New Times, the young artiste said that he grew up being inspired by his brother TMC, and Dream Boyz, a move that pushed him to start recording and producing his own music. I've loved the art of music for a long time but when I saw Dream Boyz making music, I felt the need to make my own thing and that's how we got here. And it's just the beginning, he said. Mulix further noted that his debut track was inspired by a love story which is why he dropped it in February as a Valentine's gift to couples celebrating love this month. The artiste also said that he has other big projects in production at Country Records that will be released later this year before he drops an extended play (EP). The goal is to create quality music that can go places. ‘By My Side’ was produced by Prince Kiiiz and directed by Foreign Films, with over 10,000 clicks on YouTube in less than 24 hours. Mulix was born and raised in Kicukiro, Kigali, which he left in 2018 and moved to the US to study.
