Rwandan power forward Elie Kaje has completed a move from Rwanda Energy Group (REG) to APR Basketball Club. The 27-year-old has signed a 2-year deal with the army side which is expected to be busy in this window, as it seeks to recruit players who will help it contend for the trophy next season. In an exclusive interview, Kaje told Times Sport that he will start training with the team soon. “I am happy and already feeling at home. My ambition is to help my new club win titles, he said. At REG, Kaje made a number of achievements including winning two league trophies as well as participating in the Basketball Africa League (BAL). He has also previously played for local sides Espoir and Patriots, and features for the national basketball team.
