When Christine Nyiransengimana’s husband “Emmanuel Nkurize” who was a bike mechanical died suddenly in an accident leaving a wife and young kid behind some years ago; SKOL Brewery which has been supporting the Rwandan cycling sport for many years in different ways pledged to support the family by paying the kid’s “Grave Murinda” school fees when the time to start school will come. This September 2022, SKOL walked its talk and paid the full school year for Grave who has grown up and been enrolled in a nursery school starting from this year’s school calendar. Christine is thankful to the Mr. Ivan, SKOL’s CEO for having kept his word and allowed her son to attend school. This is allowing her to reduce her financial burden and have time to focus on working while her son is at school.
