US-based Rwandan R&B singer Ben Mugisha alias The Ben spiced the Kwita Izina Gala dinner held at the Kigali Convention Centre with a performance that many said was as good as his historic homecoming show six months ago. His popular single Habibi was the climax as people took to the dance floor and never looked back until The Ben had to simply walk away from the stage. In Nyundo Band, the star-performer had the best backup vocalist and instrumentalists to compliment his already impressive voice. The Gala dinner—part of the series of events for the annual Kwita Izina—is a fundraiser dinner to raise funds for the ambitious conservation project seeking to expand the gorilla habitat.
