Dear Editor, Most times motorists don’t have necessary credentials to drive on public roads—and when caught, they tend to think of offering a bribe to our police. Fortunately or unfortunately these motorists who tempt our good policemen are from neibouring countries, where corruption is rife. I urge our police to spearhead the fight against corruption by refusing any sort of bribery. If you turn down a bribe, these drivers will tell others in the Region that in Rwanda there is zero tolerance to corruption in this way, foreigners will also act according to our policies and hence end corruption.
