Rwandan singer Okkama, Ossama Masut Khalid, hosted an exclusive 'Ahwii’ premier coustic show for his debut EP dubbed 'Ahwii' on Friday, February 2. READ ALSO: Singer Okkama talks about new EP, split with label Although the show was supposed to start at 6pm, it got delayed for about three hours due to rain. But the wait was worth it. 'Ahwii' is an EP released on January 2, featuring eight fresh singles including 'Aba Baby', 'Nasinze', 'Akanyoni', 'Romance', 'Blessings', 'Pandemic', 'Umukapo', and 'Ahwii'. Out of all the singles, 'Aba Baby' is the only one that came out with visuals. The show finally kicked off at 9:30pm and was attended by several celebrities from the entertainment industry, including Businessman Gael Koromba, also known as Coach Gael, Rocky Kimomo, Shaddyboo, DJ Phil Peter, and Kenny Sol, just to name a few. It wasn't just the locals who showed up, but also foreigners who were excited to experience the Rwandan music scene. The audience had an amazing time as they vibed along to the acoustic live performances of all eight songs on the EP, delivered by Okkama. The songs were produced by talented producers in Rwanda, including Santana Sauce, Prince Kiiz, Pastor, and a newcomer Pope Yeah. Okkama expressed his gratitude to everyone for their support and encouraged them to stream and share the EP on their social platforms, as it is available on all digital music platforms. He took a moment to acknowledge the people who have supported him since the beginning of his professional career three years ago. The performances wrapped up around 10:30pm, and Okkama thanked everyone for their attendance.
