SIX clubs have been confirmed to participate in today’s Sharks 7’s rugby tournament at Red Cross grounds, Kacyiru. Sharks Rugby Football Club president Janvier Ugeziwe told Times Sport yesterday that the major objectives of the annual tournament is to identify and recognize the club’s activities throughout the year. “We organise this tournament every year to evaluate and our activities done throughout the year as well as planning for the next calendar year,” said Ugeziwe. The confirmed clubs include: This year’s league champions Buffaloes, Gorilla, Lion de Fer, and Tigers, Sharks A and B. The one-day tournament due at Red Cross grounds will cost an estimated Frw3 millions. This tournament is set to be used as a build-up to next year’s national rugby league set to start in February.
