Malawi withdraws recognition of ‘SADR’

Malawi has withdrawn its recognition of the ghostly Saharawi Arabic Democratic Republic “SADR,” Malawi’s foreign minister Francis Kasaila announced in Rabat. “The Republic of Malawi has decided to withdraw its recognition of the SADR, which it recognized on March 6, 2014 and to maintain a neutral position visa-vis the regional Sahara conflict,” Kasaila said at a recent news briefing following a meeting with minister of foreign affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita.
