Thierry Froger, the head coach of APR, has expressed concerns about the mounting injury woes plaguing his team as they gear up for crucial fixtures in the Rwanda Premier League and Peace Cup. Currently, some of the team’s key players like Apam Bemol Assoungue and Victor Mbaoma are injured, posing problems for Froger who may miss their services in some matches. Both Mbaoma and Assoungue were absent from the Peace Cup round of 16 match where APR FC secured a 1-0 victory against AS Kigali on Thursday, January 17. Coach Thierry Froger, referring to the reports from team doctors, said that Mbaoma will be sidelined for a month, while Assongue may return earlier. The next four games, which Mbaoma may miss due to his injury, include games against Police FC, Etincelles FC, Musanze FC, and Sunrise.
