Former Rayon Sports striker Musa Esenu has rejoined his former team BUL FC, a club that plays in the Uganda Premier League.The Ugandan player most recently featured for Rayon Sports, but left the club in early January, about three weeks before the expiry of his contract.It is understood that he has signed a two-year deal with BUL, a team which is currently on top of the Uganda Premier League table.READ ALSO: Rayon Sports part ways with Ugandan striker EsenuEsenu previously played for BUL FC for three years from 2019 to 2022, before leaving them to join Rayon Sports.Upon signing the contract, Esenu expressed his excitement and promised to work hard to fulfill the team's ambitions.I feel privileged to have this opportunity to return to the place I call home. Despite having offers from elsewhere, I chose to come back because this is where I feel the sense of belonging and peace, he noted.In a press conference held on Monday, January 15, Rayon president Jean Fidele Uwayezu admitted that the club had initially wanted to renew Esenu's contract but the player declined the offer.
