Patient Bizimana to stage Easter concert

Gospel artiste and piano maestro, Patient Bizimana, will sooth Christians with gospel ballads in a concert at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Kigali on Easter Sunday. The concert dubbed ‘Easter celebration 2017 East African Chapter’ will feature performances from some of East Africa’s renowned gospel artistes. The organisers said that the names of the guest artistes will be revealed on the actual date, May 16. According to the Menye Neza singer, the gospel concert is expected to attract a large audience, as Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. “We chose Radisson Blu Hotel given that we are expecting more people this year compared to last year,” said Bizimana. He added, “We are ready to give the best performance to the Christians that day because we want Christians to come together and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and have a free spirit because it is the main purpose of the celebration.” editorial@newtimes.co.rw
