Dear Editor,I request ministry of infrastructure to fit road signs in Kigali City. This will help drivers better. It is wasting scarce human resource to deploy the few police personnel in the country in places road signs would have served better. For example along the Remera-Kisementi to Gishushu, Police are deployed after a short distance just to fine drivers for ‘over-speeding’. Another place that needs road signs is Giporoso. Here, drivers sometimes make U-turns, or take different directions because traffic signs permitting or denying this are not there. I wonder how foreigners driving in Kigali get to know that no one is allowed to exceed 40kms per hour, in particular areas since we are usually verbally told when reprimanded. For sure Ministry of Infrastructure should consider the issue of road signs as a priority. Remember it saves lives. KIGALI
