APR forward, Victor Mbaoma, has been named the best player in the Primus National League for the month of December. The Nigerian international secured the top spot after a closely contested race with Rayon Sports star Heritier Luvumbu as well as Police FC’s duo of Muhadjiri Hakizimana and Abedi Bigirimana. The awarding ceremony took place on Tuesday, January 16. The accolade for the best goal of the month was given to Elie Kategeya for his exceptional goal against Gasogi United in a match that took place on December 9, 2023. Kategeya’s goal beat competition from some great scores registered by Muhadjiri Hakizimana, Samuel Pimpong, and Sharif Bayo. The save of the month award went to SC Kiyovu's Djihad Nzeyurwanda for his outstanding save against Rayon Sports. Vincent Mashami, Police FC’s head coach earned the Coach of the Month award, beating competitors like Thierry Froger of APR FC, Afahmia Lotfi of Mukura VS, and Sosthene Habimana of Musanze.
