Mixed fortunes for shoppers in Kigali
Most food and commodity prices remain largely stable in markets across the City of Kigali ahead of the New Year festivities, a mini-survey by The New Times shows. The price of Irish potatoes dropped to Rwf280 a kilogramme from above Rwf300 previously, while fresh beans cost Rwf500 per kilo and fresh peas are at Rwf1,300 per kilogramme.
The prices of onions are stable while those of oranges are little changed compared to last week. (Appolonia Uwanziga.)
