The two have been sharing a few ‘personal’ moments on social media leaving people wondering if they the two have been hit by the love bug. A video of the two kissing went viral on social media and many criticized Isimbi for not acting like a Rwandan lady, or beauty queen for that matter. Will K-Rollz sign a music deal in the US? K-Rollz Rwandan Rapper K-Rollz is currently making major 2017 career plans. Following the release of his singles All Chozen and One Time in August this year, the rapper recently went to California, USA, where he is currently discussing a major music deal with an undisclosed label. The rapper was in recent years endorsed by entertainment platforms like the Art House, Spoken Word Rwanda, among others. He has over 10 songs including Poppin, One Time, Hollaat The Boi, among others, off his compilation album. “I am writing my latest project called Before the Music which I plan to record in 2017,” the rapper posted on his social media pages. With the buzz of his could-be record deal going around, one can only wish him all the best. We imagine he doesn’t want to jinx his luck by talking about it before he knows anything for sure. Nutty Neithan to perform in Kigali Nutty Neithan Our roving snoops have it on good authority that Uganda’s popular dancehall star Nutty Neithan will perform for the first time in Kigali. Neithan is known for songs like Bakuwe Kyonywa, Gwabise, Appetizer and Kokonyo, to name a few. We are told that the singer will be staging a show in Rwanda on January 1, 2017 at the popular bar and restaurant, Beirut Sky Pool,formerly known as Aloha in Kibagabaga. Uganda’s Kanyomozi in charity work Juliana Kanyomozi Renowned Ugandan songbird Juliana Kanyomozi had a heartbreaking 2014 when her only son, Raphael Keron Kabugo, passed on in a Nairobi hospital in July. Two years later, the singer has decided to start a charity foundation, something he had always wanted. It is said that Keron loved kids and did not want to see them suffer in anyway, so his dream was to help vulnerable kids, especially those on the streets. We are told that the Keron Kabugo Foundation is Juliana’s way of remembering her son by doing something he was passionate about. The foundation’s logo is in Keron’s handwriting. Per reliable sources, work starts this month with Wakisa Ministries in Mengo, a home for abandoned children and young girls. We also know that the foundation is being financed from her own resources but she’s working hard to get donors on board. Juliana decided to take a break from music for a greater part of this year but promises something great for her fans next year. Way to go! We wish her the best! Assinah heads to America Asinah Upcoming dancehall artiste, Assinah has been slowly but surely making her way around the entertainment scene. Assinah, whose provocative videos have kept people talking, has been working hard to stay relevant in the industry and if the stories reaching our desk are any indication, then Assinah’s hard work might just pay off. The news is that the rising songstress is heading to the US just before the festive season ends. We are also told that the singer plans to meet artistes in the Diaspora and hopefully build her network over there. Though her travel details have not been fully confirmed, it is rumoured that Assinah will use this time to build her career on a global basis.
