Dear editor, Through your paper allow me to express my anger about people who tend to be very concerned about other people’s business than what concerns them. These are the characters that go back biting other people and mentioning their names and places of work in public places. One time I was unnecessarily entertained by a boring conversation. I boarded a taxi coming from town to Remera. I happened to sit at the back, right next to three young ladies. They certainly looked fine and the make-up also made them look much better just like any urban ladies around town. While we waited for the taxi to get full so we can set off, a trendy lady crossed our sight. Then suddenly these three ladies’ conversation changed to none other than bad-mouthing. I really doubt whether they even knew the person in question. Clearly they gossiped about her because she must have looked smarter than them. You would hear nothing meaningful out of their conversation. The innocent lady was the topic on the table. As a matter of fact, these gossips went ahead to argue about where she does her shopping, how she manages to raise the money including, what kind of house she could be occupying! This is the kind of cheap talk I call nonsense! Surely a lot of constructive ideas can be discussed in such a time instead of gossiping and ruining other people’s lives. Kigali
