Editor, RE: “Ombudsman anti-injustice drive reaches Musanze” (The New Times, November 19). Rwanda scores highly in anti-corruption and it is commendable that virtually all government organs have taken a very tough stance on this. The office of the Ombudsman has an important feature of corruption called whistle blowing. This is where someone can report corruption/harassment...anonymously and his identity is protected for obvious reasons. In reality, corruption /injustice/harassment cases are difficult to report due to fear of retaliation. I would ask Ombudsman to look into enforcing whistle-blowing for an even more effective fight against corruption. The most famous case in the world was of Edward Snowden and US government before his identity was “maliciously” revealed. Kigali Girl
