Dear Editor,Now that government policy compels schools and public servants to use English, many people like me, have searched for the best places in the country where we can learn the language but all in vain. Although some proprietors of language schools have advertised let me advise you that some people are in this business to extort money from the public. They take advantage of those who want to learn English, by convincing them that they are in position to teach them and have the best learning facilities. But after enrolling, one realizes that the so called English experts actually know very little about the language. And, proprietors of the language schools opened the business simply for to extort the unsuspecting public. My request therefore before all goes out of hand is: government comes out to protect the public. I suggest that qualified people be hired to teach English. Government should come up with the minimal standards these places should have to before teaching English. We need help. KIGALI
