Women topflight league Saturday Rayon Sports WFC 13-0 Es Mutunda WFC Star strikers Dorothée Mukeshimana and Jeanine Mukandayisenga were in their prime as they each scored a hat trick inspired Rayon Sports WFC to a 13-0 emphatic victory over hapless ES Mutunda in a women's top flight league game held at Skol Stadium, Nzove, on Saturday, January 6. READ ALSO: AS Kigali WFC captain Nibagwire crosses over to Rayon Sports The Blues were dominant in attack from the very beginning of the game to the last minutes hence posing an attacking threat which was too tough for visitors ES Mutunda to cope with. It took the home side just seven minutes to open the scoring through Judith Ochieng Atieno. It was just the beginning for Rayon who were scoring a goal at least every seven minutes. Dorothée Mukeshimana found the back of the net to double Blues’ lead in the 19th minute before Fatuma Kankindi scored the third in the 44th minute to head into the half time break with a 3-0 package. There was no stopping for a Rayon Sports women side which looked even hungrier for more goals in the second half while also giving ES Mutunda no room to Mukeshimana again put her name on the scoreboard in the 47th minute to make it 4-0 for Rayon before Atieno added the fifth in the 56th minute. It was her second goal of the match. Sifa Uwiringiyimana and Jeanine Mukandayisenga joined the scoring spree in the 60th and 61st minutes respectively. It was evident that the visitors struggled to contain Rayon’s attacking onslaught as goals kept pouring in. Mukeshimana completed her hat-trick in the 70th minute while Mary Chavinda Gibi and new signing Libellée Nibagwire came on the scoresheet in the 75th and 76th minutes respectively. Rayon Sports showed no signs of slowing down even in the final stages of the encounter as Mukandayisenga scored two goals in three minutes (89th and 91st) to complete her hat trick while Nyirarukundo Uwitonze added another in the 89th minute. The victory saw Rayon move level with AS Kigali at the top of the table standings with 34 points and 49 goal difference. AS Kigali traveled to Nyabihu to beat Rambura WFC 6-1 before their home supporters.
