Shemi Ever since Shemi dropped his debut track 'Peace of Mind', the young boy has managed to stay on top of the game with a number of features such as DJ Pyfo's 'Solo' and Kevin Klein's 'Ntagotwa', all of which premiered before the takeover of his second single 'One Time'. Kevin Kade The singer made significant strides in 2023, and still shows possible signs of taking over the industry in 2024 if the artiste continues to drop back-to-back smash hits. Kade kicked off 2023 with the release of his first EP, which featured big tunes like 'Umuana', 'Tiana', 'Sofia' and 'Kao', all of which led him to perform at major concerts across the country and neighbouring countries. The artiste starts the year on top with his recently released track 'Munda', produced by Element Eleeh, among the most trending songs on various streaming platforms and airwaves, a move that makes him a potential candidate to be signed by major local record labels like 1:55AM and Kina Music. Kade has also confirmed to The New Times that his first album 'Baho' will be released anytime from now. Kabaka Kevin Kabaka Giraneza, popularly known as Kabaka, is a Kigali born and bred artist who recorded his first song titled 'I Want You' under Infoatassi record label in August 2023. The record label signed him in August 2023 and he is still under their management as he continues to deliver quality music. The youngster kicks off 2024 with a fresh track titled ‘Melanin’, which he describes as a track that recognises the natural beauty of the African woman. In his recent interview with The New Times, Kabaka said he draws inspiration mainly from meditation and the life around him, which pushed him to take up the art of music creation. According to the new kid on the block, 2024 is a breakthrough year for his music career where he is focusing on making big collaborations, releasing his first EP and performing in big shows across the country. Chryso Ndasingwa Rising worship leader, Chryso Ndasingwa, is one of the musicians who is steadily gaining popularity in the country's gospel music scene, thanks to hits such as Wahozeho which catapulted him into the limelight. The new gospel music star has made a name for himself as one of the best live performers in the gospel music industry and so far, one of the most promising musicians to follow in the footsteps of gospel music sensations like Israel Mbonyi, James & Daniella and Tonzi among others. The musician may release his first studio album in 2024, another move that makes him one of the best gospel musicians to watch this year. Bwiza Bwiza, one of the few female musicians to shine in 2023, having been nominated for major awards such as Trace Africa, is capable of taking her craft to the international arena in 2024 if she continues to create music that makes the world listen. She enters 2024 with her debut album 'My Dream', which includes hits such as 'No Body', which features Burundi's Double Jay, 'Soja', 'Carry Me' among others. This year, she is focusing on expanding her music career by performing at various festivals around the world, featuring big musicians as well as dropping big smash hits.
