Crystal Telecom, has appointed Iza Irame as CEO, following the departure of Vincent Gatete, who recently moved to Bank of Kigali as Chief Commercial Officer, according to a statement. Iza Irame. Crystal Telecom is the first local private company to list on the Rwandan Stock Exchange, and it is a special purpose vehicle that owns 20 per cent of MTN Rwanda. Irame has been the Chief Corporate Officer of Crystal Ventures Ltd since May 2016. Prior to joining CVL, she was Chief Executive Officer of African Alliance Rwanda for four years. “During her tenure she led diverse corporate finance transactions in the Rwandan Market and has been instrumental in growing the local Capital Market industry. She was the first chairperson of the Rwanda Stockbrokers Association,” reads part of the statement. She holds a Business Administration degree specializing in Finance from the Kigali Institute of Science, Technology and Management (KIST). She is an Affiliate of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). Iza has more than 10 years senior management experience both in private and public sector. Prior to joining African Alliance, Iza was Group Finance Manager at Horizon Group.
