By the time the match referee Ahishakiye Balthzar called off the game in its 78th minute, the homes side SC Kiyovu were leading 2-1. According the league competition rules, Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) must announce another date for the match within 48 hours. According to FERWAFA Competition regulations, Paragraph 6, Article 38, section 3 in regard to Match Ratification which states that, “For a match to be ratified, it must have been effectively played. The expression (effectively played) refers to a match that has had a normal outcome including added time. Section 4 further states that, “In the event of a match suspension due to bad weather or bad ground conditions, the match will be replayed entirely on the same ground. The date of the match and the officials shall be determined by a competent committee of FERWAFA which shall convene within 48 hours to fix the day of the match,” The league match-day 5 continues on Sunday with three fixtures. Amagaju host AS Kigali in Nyamasheke while Etincelles are at home to Pepiniere at Umuganda Stadium and Gicumbi FC entertain Espoir.
