The conference serves as a platform inviting thought leaders, researchers, and industry experts to unravel the intricate relationship between financial technology, innovation, and sustainability within Rwanda’s evolving financial sector. Amidst a changing global financial paradigm, the interplay of these three critical facets has reshaped market dynamics. The Conference aims to spotlight: Evolution of Financial Technology: Delving into the transformative impact of financial technology, notably mobile technology, on the provision of financial services. The discourse will dissect the translation of efficiency gains and innovative products into profitability versus the promise of fostering inclusive finance. Consumer Behavior in a Changing Market: Analyzing the shifting landscape of consumer expectations regarding cost, access, and behavior owing to dynamic market competition dynamics and risks embedded in the adoption of financial technology. Selected papers will receive an honorarium and published as Working Papers by the esteemed Rwanda Bankers Association Research Centre.
