Radisson Blu Hotel and Kigali Convention Centre hosted a Christmas party for youngsters from SOS Children’s Village and Hope Shines. Children from both organisations were treated to an experience at Radisson Blu’s Lavender restaurant on Tuesday, December 26, with beautifully decorated play areas, karaoke and live music sessions, and a generous lunch buffet. SOS Children’s Village and Hope Shines are non-governmental organisations dedicated to supporting orphaned and vulnerable children in Rwanda. On the other hand, Hope Shines adopts a holistic approach to childhood development, offering support, and resources, and cultivating the children’s artistic interests through movement. Alice Mushyitsi, Officer in Charge of the Responsible Business Department at Radisson Blu Hotel, said, “At Radisson Blu, we strongly believe in our responsibility towards the community. Celebrating Christmas with SOS Children’s Village and Hope Shines is part of our commitment to making a positive impact. The hotel is involved in other projects that support survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, as well as other partnerships that involve the SOS Children's Village and technical and secondary schools.
