Dear Editor, The formation of the East African Community (EAC) was a great initiative. By now I believe many of us know how much we are set to benefit from this regional integration. On the other hand, however, the political federation issue is a more complicated matter. Putting in mind that EAC countries are occupied by various tribes and groups of people, each with different needs, it is not going to be easy. Honestly, with such diverse groups of people, many are bound to feel left out. We (Rwandans) for example have completely different policies. Many of which, are geared towards rebuilding our nation that was severely affected by the events of the 1994 Genocide. Other countries also have their own targets. Please drop the EAC political federation idea. It will never work. Rwamagana
