Bugesera, AS Kigali faceoff in friendly match

WednesdayAS Kigali vs Bugesera (Kigali Regional Stadium)Marines vs Musanze (Rubavu) AS Kigali will host Bugesera FC this afternoon in a friendly at Kigali Regional Stadium, Nyamirambo. The friendly will serve as a warm-up for both sides ahead of the 2016/17 campaign set to start on October 14. The match is aimed at testing new signings and getting players before the new season starts, according to Bugesera FC head coach Vincent Mashami. “This is a good opportunity, especially for the new players at the club. Playing against Bugesera is helpful as we try to get back to regular playing rhythm ahead of the new season,” said Mashami. He noted that he will use all players but also try to win to boost the players’ confidence. The Eastern Province-based side drew 1-1 against Mukura Victory Sports in a pre-season match at Nyamata grounds on Saturday while last week Bugesera beat Mukura 2-0 in Huye. editorial@newtimes.co.rw
