Experience, perseverance and confidence in what one is doing are key to success. I salute how at an early stage of your business venture, you are concurrently addressing the welfare of your staff and their families by providing education and skills training. You have what it takes to succeed and I wish you just that. Robert *************************** Editor, Fish feeds are a major constraint to people venturing into that line of business in the Great Lakes of Africa. Most of the feeds on the market are substandard when not fake, thus resulting into malnourished product and the attendant losses. One would think that RDB (Rwanda Development Board) would do their best to assist such a model farmer to venture into feed manufacturing to feed such a great demand in the region, (but that’s if the farmer has made the suggestion in the first place and other factors not withstanding). The Government of Rwanda has sunk millions of dollars in developing fish farming, but there is nothing to show for it (or may be Shaw is a recipient), surely there should be an explanation as to what the money sunk in fisheries has done, otherwise the talk of fighting corruption becomes wishful thinking and rhetoric. Please Mr Shaw, can you kindly volunteer sharing good practices with the fisheries department, for the benefit of the country you love and care about (Rwanda)? Joe
