Second division football league action continued on Christmas Eve as Vision FC earned a resounding 4-0 victory over SORWATE on match day eight of the competition. Talented forward Radjabu Mbanjineza was one of the players that wreaked havoc against SORWATE’s defence, scoring in the 6th and 39th minute respectively. Experienced Ugandan attacker Rashid Mutebi then joined the party as he scored in the 62nd and 88th minute to bag a brace as well. The victory strengthened Vision FC’s chances for the title, as the team now sits on top of the Second Division take alongside Interforce FC, with 21 points each. In another fixture of the day, Espoir FC beat United Stars 2-0, with Gad Niyonshuti and Salim Saleh being the goal scorers.
