Kigali, Rwanda. 22 December 2023: Vivo Energy Rwanda, in collaboration with the Government of Rwanda, is proud to announce the introduction of MOGAS 95, a premium high-octane fuel designed to optimise the performance of modern engines. This initiative reflects Vivo Energy's commitment to providing innovative and environmentally friendly solutions to meet the evolving needs of Rwandan motorists. Rwanda currently offers Octane 93 fuel, which may not be optimised for the latest advancements in engine technology. Recognising the importance of adapting to the demands of modern vehicles, Vivo Energy Rwanda is taking a significant step by launching MOGAS 95, which will initially be available exclusively at the ENGEN KICUKIRO SONATUBES and later before the end of the year at ENGEN KANOGO service stations in Kigali. Key benefits of MOGAS 95: Performance: MOGAS 95 is specifically formulated to enhance engine performance and efficiency, ensuring a smoother and more powerful driving experience for vehicle owners. Protection: The higher-octane level of MOGAS 95 enables combustion at its optimum point, providing essential protection for modern engines and prolonging their lifespan. Environment: By using MOGAS 95, motorists contribute to a cleaner environment. This advanced fuel formulation results in reduced emissions, aligning with global efforts to address environmental concerns. Vivo Energy Rwanda is introducing MOGAS 95 in accordance with recommendations from leading car manufacturers. This high-quality fuel aims to meet the growing demands of modern vehicles and is expected to become a preferred choice for customers seeking superior performance and environmental responsibility. Key government stakeholders, including the Permanent secretary at Minicom, Director General for transport, the acting Chief Investment Officer at RDB and other senior officials graced the launch event at the Marriott Hotel in Kigali.
