Christian names are a creation of colonialism
I’m on the same page as Gatete Ruhumuriza Nyiringabo. This business of the so called Christian/first names is a subtle ‘fix’ in favour of the aggressor/coloniser, covertly biasing the unwitting African against his true identity as a melanated well crafted self.
