Bralirwa counter bounced back yesterday gaining Rwf12 lost on Tuesday last week, according to the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report for Monday. The counter traded at Rwf166, up from Rwf154 previously, recording a total turnover of Rwf82.1 million from 554,200 shares traded in four deals. The appreciation of the counter pushed up both the Rwanda Share Index that went up by 4.60 points to close at 139.64 points, while the All Share Index gained 0.57 points and closed at 129.71 points. The bond market recorded Rwf1.002 million from one million worth of bonds traded at Rwf100.2 per each. The other equities counters did not transact yesterday. Bank of Kigali closed at Rwf275, Crystal Telecom was at Rwf70, Equity Bank at Rwf334, and NMG was at Rwf1200, while KCB closed at Rwf330 and Uchumi Supermarkets at Rwf104. At the end of formal trading, there was an outstanding offer of 473,800 shares at the Bank of Kigali counter between Rwf274 and Rwf280 and no bids. On the Crystal Telecom counter, there were outstanding bids for 240,300 shares at Rwf70, while Bralirwa had 28,900 shares at Rwf166-Rwf169.
