The bourse will close tomorrow as it will be a holiday marking Rwanda’s National Harvest Day, Umuganura, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) indicated yesterday in its daily market report. The day’s national celebrations will be held in Nyanza District, Southern Province. Meanwhile, Bank of Kigali raked in a total turnover of Rwf82.5 million from 301,200 shares traded in three deals yesterday. The counter closed at Rwf275, unchanged from the previous trading session. Beverages firm, Bralirwa was also constant at Rwf154, and recorded a total turnover of Rwf215,600 from 1,400 shares traded in one deal. The Crystal Telecom counter realised a total turnover of Rwf9.5 million from 136,400 shares traded in one deal during Thursday trading session. The firm closed at Rwf70. Both the Rwanda Share Index and All Share Index were unchanged to close at 135.04 and 129.14 points, respectively. The other equities counters and the bond market were quiet. Equity Bank was at Rwf334, NMG at Rwf1,200, while KCB closed at Rwf330, and Uchumi Supermarkets was at Rwf104. At the end of the formal trading hours, Bank of Kigali had outstanding offers of 539,700 shares between Rwf274 and Rwf280 and an outstanding bid of 100,000 shares at Rwf260. On Bralirwa counter there were outstanding offers of 29,700 shares ranging from Rwf154 to Rwf169 and an outstanding bid of 546,000 shares at Rwf148. On the Crystal Telecom counter, there were outstanding bids of 234,700 shares at Rwf70, but there were no shareholders willing to sell.
